About

BIOGRAPHY
I was born April 29th, 1993 in Miami, Florida, United States. Growing up I was always involved in sports such as soccer, track, volleyball, basketball, etc. At the age of 11 years old I started skateboarding and surfing while still playing regular sports for school. At the age of 15 I started playing paintball. Paintball was my life for 3 solid years. I was featured in a couple of paintball magazines and won decent amount of tournaments with my old team all over South America. Right when I turned 18 I knew I wasn't going to be playing paintball for ever so I needed to figure something out. I joined the gym a few months after high school graduation and I never thought it was going to take me through an epic journey.
FITNESS JOURNEY
I began my fitness journey at the age of 18 years old when I moved out of Ecuador. (Where I grew up). When I started working out I knew I had to make it habit in order for me not to dread going in to the gym after work. A year later went by (2012) and I decided to compete in my very first Men's Physique competition. I was only 19 years old at the time and I remember signing up for Teen Physique but I was the only competitor in that division. As a true competitor, I decided to crossover to Open division instead because I didn't want them to hand me a trophy just for showing up. I ended up placing 4th place out of 14 competitors, meaning I made podium and got a trophy. That was when I got hooked on the "Fitness Industry". I did 4 shows that year placing in all of them.
In 2013, I decided to go to college in Tampa. Although I was still training, I got off the wagon badly for about 6 months. I only did one show that year coming in 2nd place.
In 2014, I decided to cut the college life and get back to what I originally loved, competing. I started prepping for the 2014 NPC Orlando Europa. I came in 2nd place again out of a big division. After that I knew I had to do Nationals so I can win my IFBB Pro Card.
Seven months later I competed at the NPC Miami Nationals 2014 Class B. I was runner up at a huge show where I earned my IFBB pro status at the age of 21 years old. It was a very surreal moment, one of my best achievements to date.
Ever since I decided to take my personal training career serious. I competed in 4 pro shows only but the best part is that I am just getting started. What I have learned in my journey this far is that strength doesn't come from winning, it comes from your struggles and loses. And success doesn't come from what you do occasionally, it comes from what you do consistently.
